Announcing a timely new resource! In this week's Caregiver.com newsletter, Carol Marak writes that she has launched a Facebook group called Elder Orphans, people who are solo aging. Elderly people face many struggles as their abilities decline, and having no one to help them raises their frustrations and risks. In the new Facebook group, members can share resources and ideas.
IMHO, this is an idea whose time has come. I hope it snowballs to effect great changes in how well we age.
